Create a Sample Theme Page
All Applications must be accompanied by at least one "Sample Theme Page". Simply put, this is a set of carefully chosen links that can then be used by our Web Team to create the theme page. No real technical knowledge is required; you simply need to be a good scavenger of online information. Please follow the instructions below when completing your theme page!~
|
STEP 1 - Select a Theme
We have prepared a short list of 200 potential theme pages for you to choose from. Click HERE to see the LIST. If you prefer to pick your own theme, please email us first to ensure it is acceptible. |
STEP 2 - Review other Theme Pages
Now that you have decided on one or two possible themes, it is time to look at the format of a finished theme page. You do not need to actually create the web page, but just get an idea of the type of information found on some of our current theme pages. To review a few Active Theme Pages, please check these:
Dr. Seuss / Mars / Snow and Ice / Winter / Christmas / Hanukkah / Australia / Black History / ML King / |
STEP 3 - Review the Premade Sample
Essentially, your only task is to find materials that can be used on a theme page. These must include Lesson Plans, Units, Worksheets, Resources, Clipart & Images, as well as any other categories you may find appropriate. The Sample you submit must follow a simple predefined format. We have created one as a Guide. Click Here to see our Sample. |
STEP 4 - Research and Collect Theme Links
Now that you have picked a theme topic, have seen examples of a Finished Theme Page, and reviewed the format, it is time to start searching the Internet for links and resources that will be used in the Sample Theme Page that you will submit as part of your application. Please remember that all links must be appropriate, and our decision to offer a contract job will be based on the quality and quantity of resources submitted. We suggest that you print out the following forms to help you in your research.
